Study progress

Your course progress, streaks, and settings are stored on your device with Apple SwiftData and may sync through your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to that CloudKit data.

Anonymous telemetry and notifications

The app may send lightweight, pseudonymous events about study time, completion, and video engagement. Local reminders stay on your device. If you enable course-update alerts, we register an APNs device token that is not linked to your study history.

Download-link attribution

When you follow a tagged TutorialRepo download link, we record one anonymous daily count for its source, such as YouTube or Instagram. We do not store your IP address, browser details, referrer, device identifier, or an individual click record for this purpose.

Optional content feedback

If you tap a thumbs up or down on a question or Short, we receive the rating, course and content identifiers, content version when available, and a random identifier specific to that item's response. We record the latest rating and receipt time to improve the material. Ratings are kept separate from email, purchase data, and study progress; no name, email, study score, or device-wide identifier is sent with them. Offline feedback waits on your device until the app can send it.

Tap the other thumb to change a vote, or tap the selected thumb again to remove it. Choices are saved on the device that submitted them. Removed votes stop counting when the removal reaches our server; a temporary record prevents delayed requests from restoring them. Feedback expires from reports 365 days after its latest change and is then scheduled for automatic deletion.

Optional email

If you enter and verify an email, we store the address, preferences, consent version, and relevant timestamps. Amazon Simple Email Service processes delivery and unsubscribe events for us. Email records are kept separate from study telemetry.

Purchases and AI usage

Apple processes StoreKit payments. We do not receive payment-card information. To verify an active trial or paid subscription and enforce AI usage limits, our backend stores a pseudonymous transaction identifier and daily usage counts. AI questions and current course context are processed through AWS and Amazon Bedrock to create an answer; our application does not save the question or answer in a database.

Your choices

• Change email and notification preferences in the app.
• Reset on-device and CloudKit study progress from Settings.
• Request deletion of server-side records associated with your device or email.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not build cross-app advertising profiles.
• We do not require a username or password.

Children, changes, and contact

TutorialRepo is not directed at children under 13. We will update the date above and provide notice for material changes. Contact support@tutorialrepo.com with privacy questions or deletion requests.
